Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), to the federal high court in Abuja to resume trial.

This comes less than 24 hours after he was extradited to Nigeria, following his arrest in Niger Republic by a collaboration of the Nigeria Police Force and INTERPOL on Monday.

Maina is facing trial for alleged money laundering to the tune of N2 billion.

More details soon.
