BREAKING: 462 New Cases Of COVID-19 Confirmed In Nigeria As Total Exceeds 43,000

Coronavirus cases in Nigeria have risen to 43,151 after 462 new infections were confirmed in the country.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday via its verified Twitter handle.

FCT again topped the daily cases after 93 new infections were confirmed, followed by Lagos with 78. Others are Plateau-64, Kaduna-54, Oyo-47, Ondo-32, Adamawa-23, Bauchi-19, Rivers-9, Ogun-9, Delta-9, Edo-7, Kano-6, Enugu-6, Nasarawa-5 and Osun-1.

Only one fatality was recorded, pushing the toll to 879 as recoveries hit 19,565 in the country.

A breakdown of the cases as reported by NCDC reads below:
