The deposed emir of Kano, Sanusi Muhammad Sanusi, is seen stepping out of his confinement for the first time in Awe Town in Nasarawa State.

The former emir was seen in company of the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai who visited him earlier and the Emir of Awe.

Sanusi was driven to the palace of the emir of Awe, where he was reportedly said to have preached and led Jumaat prayers.
