BREAKING: Another COVID-19 Patient Dies In Lagos

A coronavirus patient receiving treatment in Lagos has died, bringing the tally of deaths in the state to 31.

The Lagos State Ministry of Health, made the disclosure on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle but gave no details about the patient.

The health ministry tweeted: “#COVID19Lagos Update as at 4th May, 2020.

“76 new cases of #COVID19 Infection confirmed. Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 1,199

“14 #COVID19Lagos patients; 8 males & 6 females were discharged. Total Discharged now 261.

“Unfortunately, 1 #COVID19 death was recorded. This brings total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 31.”

Meridian Spy reported yesterday, Monday the death of two COVID-19 patients.

The state Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi made the disclosure via his verified Twitter handle but did not reveal details of the deceased patients.
