BREAKING: 453 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Nigeria As Total Exceeds 46,000

453 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the total to 46,140 in the country.

This was disclosed on Saturday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its verified Twitter handle.

FCT topped the list of new infections with 75, followed by Lagos with 71. Others are Benue-53, Delta-39, Borno-30, Enugu-25, Plateau-24, Osun-20, Abia-19, Oyo-17, Kaduna-16, Kano-13, Ebonyi-13, Ogun-9, Kwara-7, Ondo-6, Gombe-3, Ekiti-2, Akwa Ibom-1 and Rivers-1.

Total recovery and fatalities in the country rose to 33,044 and 942 respectively.

A breakdown of the cases by NCDC reads below:
