Nigeria has recorded 790 new cases of coronvirus, bringing the total to 26,484 in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure on Wednesday via its verified Twitter handle.
Out of the new cases, Delta topped the list of cases by state after 166 were confirmed, followed by the epicentre of the virus in the country, Lagos with 120. Others are Enugu-66, FCT-65, Edo-60, Ogun-43, Kano-41, Kaduna-39, Ondo-33, Rivers-32, Bayelsa-29, Katsina-21, Imo-20, Kwara-18, Oyo-11, Abia-10, Benue-6, Gombe-4, Yobe-2, Bauchi-2 and Kebbi-2.
13 new deaths were also confirmed, as the total hits 603, while total discharged in the country rose by 406 to 10,152.
