BREAKING: Nigeria Confirms 745 New COVID-19 Cases, Highest Daily Record

Nigeria has recorded its highest single-day record, after 745 new cases were confirmed in Nigeria, pushing the total to 18,480 in the country.

This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 745 new cases of #COVID19, Lagos recorded high at 280, followed by Oyo with 103 and Ebonyi with 72. Others are FCT-60, Imo-46, Edo-34, Delta-33, Rivers-25, Kaduna-23, Ondo-16, Katsina-12, Kano-10, Bauchi-8, Borno-7, Kwara-5, Gombe-4, Sokoto-2Enugu-2, Yobe-1, Osun-1 and Nasarawa-1.

340 patients were newly discharged, taking the total to 6,307, while total fatalities rose to 475 in the country.
