BREAKING: 20 Deaths, 575 New COVID-19 Cases, As Total Hits 31,000 In Nigeria

Nigeria has confirmed 575 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total to 31323 in the country.

This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday via its verified Twitter handle.

Out of the 575 new cases, Lagos topped the list of cases by states with 224, followed by Oyo with 85 and FCT with 68. Others are Rivers-49, Kaduna-39, Edo-31, Enugu-30, Delta-11, Niger-10, Katsina-9, Ebonyi-5, Gombe-3, Jigawa-3, Plateau-2, Nassarawa-2, Borno-2, Kano-1 and Abia-1.

Fatalities increased by 20 to 709 while total recoveries rose to 12,795 in the country.

A breakdown of the cases released by NCDC reads below:
