Controversial cross-dresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has allegedly revealed in a leaked audio recording that he paid N5 million upfront to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to secure a Federal Government pardon for money laundering charges brought against him by the EFCC

. The audio, leaked by social media influencer Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan (VDM), was recorded on May 16, 2024.

In the conversation, Bobrisky disclosed that the SAN had initially requested N10 million for the pardon, but his EFCC-frozen bank account made it difficult to raise the full amount. He claimed that with the help of a “godfather,” he was able to gather N5 million, which was sent to the SAN. According to Bobrisky, the pardon request has already been submitted, and he hoped to be released early through amnesty.

Just last week, prominent SAN Femi Falana denied any involvement with Bobrisky, clarifying that the cross-dresser had only communicated with his son, Folarin Falana (aka Falz).
