Angry youths in Kano on Monday staged a protest following President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Kano to commission some of the Ganduje’s projects. The youth who came out in their numbers were seen wielding sticks and pelting stones at the president’s convoy before they were dispersed by security agents who fired shots in the air. A suicide bombing at a mosque in Pakistan on Monday left at least 34 dead and another 150 wounded in the city of Peshawar, according to officials. Most of the casualties were police officers.
