It was learnt that the traders – Faith Ogbona, Chidioke Ogbona and Sunday Ogbona – were arrested by policemen from the Alagbado division after being alerted by a woman, who caught Chidioke applying Sniper, an insecticide, on the beans. Nasarawa State Police Command has said three suspected notorious kidnappers terrorising the residents of Sabon Gidan, in Lafia East Development Area of the state, have been killed. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Ibadan Zonal Command has arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters in Oyo State. The antigraft agency arrested the suspected fraudsters in Apete and Bodija areas. Alhaji Ahmed Ododo has emerged as the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi. The Ogun State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta has so far, received 19 petitions from various candidates and political parties challenging the outcome of the elections in the state.
