The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the party’s Ebonyi and Ekiti State executive committees with immediate effect. Prices of petrol at depots have increased more than 100 per cent following the official removal of subsidies since May 29. National Controller Operations, Mike Osatuyi, on Tuesday, told our correspondent that many downstream businesses were currently struggling to stay afloat as a result of the hike in prices of products at the depots. Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has ordered the immediate termination of all employments into the State Civil Service made by the last administration in the last one year.
