Another COVID-19 Death Recorded In Lagos, Total Now 47

Another patient has died of complications from coronavirus in Lagos State.

The state Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi made this known on Monday via his verified Twitter handle.

“Lagos recorded one more #COVID19 related death. Total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos now stands at 47,” Abayomi tweeted.

He also confirmed the 148 fresh COVID-19 cases recorded in the state as announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Sunday night.

“148 new #COVID19 Infection confirmed. Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 3521,” the health commissioner wrote.

“31 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 12 females & 19 males were discharged after testing negative to #COVID19. Total number of #COVID19 discharged patients is now 738.

“Observing #PhysicalDistancing is our collective responsibility. Let’s do it #ForAGreaterLagos.”
