Access Holdings Plc has named Mr. Innocent Ike as its substantive Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, effective August 29, 2025, following regulatory approval.

The announcement comes just hours after Mr. Roosevelt Ogbonna resigned from the company’s board in compliance with the new corporate governance rules issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The appointment marks a new chapter for the group under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, who returned to the helm after the passing of former Group CEO, Mr. Herbert Wigwe, in 2024.
