BREAKING: 603 New Cases As COVID-19 Infections Top 28,000 In Nigeria

Coronavirus cases in Nigeria have increased by 603 to hit 28,167 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the announcement on Saturday via its verified Twitter handle.

Lagos, the epicentre, continued to top the list of cases by states, confirming 135 new cases, followed by Edo-87. Others are FCT-73, Rivers-67, Delta-62, Ogun-47, Kaduna-20, Plateau-19, Osun-17, Ondo-16, Enugu-15, Oyo-15, Borno-13, Niger-6, Nasarawa-4, Kebbi-3, Kano-2, Sokoto-1 and Abia-1.

Total discharged and fatalities rose to 11,462 and 634 respectively.

A breakdown of the cases as reported by the NCDC reads below:
