48hrs After Assaulting Sanusi, Mammoth Crowd Welcomes Emir Bayero to Kano

The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero was received by a mammoth crowd on Tuesday after arriving at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport from Abuja.

The Emir who was on official visit to Abuja was accompanied by his chief of staff Ahmad Ado Bayero, private secretary Isa Sanusi Bayero and other District Heads.

Bayero arrived at around 3:30PM was received by thousands of well wishers with tight security.

It would be recalled that Emir Bayero and Sanusi jetted out of Kano last week. While Sanusi travelled to London to defend his PhD, Bayero travelled to Abuja for an official assignment according to palace sources.

“This crowd you’re seeing supposed to be more than this had it been it was announced that the Emir is returning back but as you can see, the people of Kano love Emir Bayero.

Most of the people you see here were neither mobilised nor paid. This is what we call natural love”. Said Ayman Ado one of the young people that welcomed the Emir.

It was reported that it took the Emir 2 hours from the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport to Nassarawa Palace.
