2024 Budget: NJC, NDDC, UBEC, NEDC Get Highest Allocations

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has received an allocation of N341.626bn as statutory transfers from the N28.7trn Appropriation Bill passed by the Senate on Saturday.

This is the highest statutory transfer received by any the federal government agencies.

This is followed by Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) which received N338.925bn.

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) received N263.044bn.

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) also received N131.836bn.

The sum of N131.522bn was also allocated to the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund as statutory transfer.

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) received N131.522bn.

Others are the Public Complaint Commission (PCC) which received N14.46bn while N5bn was allocated to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) as statutory transfer.
