Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has removed Buba Galadima from the position of Chairman of the Governing Council, Kano State Polytechnic, and appointed the Emir of Gaya, Alhaji Dr Aliyu Abdulkadir, as his replacement.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sanusi Dawakin-Tofa, in Kano on Saturday.
The decision followed the restructuring and alignment with the ‘Kano First Agenda’, with the Governor expressing appreciation to Galadima for his services to the institution.
Yusuf urged the new chairman to bring his experience and leadership to reposition the polytechnic for greater academic and administrative excellence.(NAN)
