‎Workers’ Day: First Lady Commends  Workers on  National Development

‎

‎Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm greetings to workers across the country in commemoration of this year’s Workers’ Day, applauding their resilience, dedication, and contributions to national growth.

‎

‎In a goodwill message issued on Thursday, the First Lady described Nigerian workers as the backbone of the nation’s progress, noting that their daily efforts continue to drive development across sectors.

‎

‎She acknowledged the commitment of public servants, private sector professionals, artisans, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing that their collective labour remains vital to sustaining the country’s economic and social advancement.

‎

‎Mrs Tinubu also commended trade unions for their advocacy in promoting workers’ welfare, appreciating their cooperation in efforts aimed at strengthening the workforce.

‎

‎She reiterated her appreciation for the contributions of Nigerian workers and wished them a happy Workers’ Day celebration.
