More trouble appears to be on the way for Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti, as a new video of him bragging about slapping several police officers has surfaced.
Although the actual time of this video is unknown, Seun can be heard in the video indicating that his action was motivated by understanding who he is.
“Some of una police go slap una, una go come Instagram to explain. You know how many police I don tear slap?” he asked in pidgin.

Seun’s arrest has already been ordered and prosecution demanded by the Police Service Commission.
The singer was seen hours after the video of his assault of a policeman emerged online, explaining why he acted the way he did, in his words, the officer attempted to kill him and his family members.
Kuti said, “He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologized and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business make the poor guy no lose him job.”
