Britain’s Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock said he has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

This comes after UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson confirmed he was self-isolating after testing positive for the virus.

Hancock disclosed on Friday via his twitter handle that his symptoms are mild and he will be working from home and self-isolating.

Hancock tweeted: “Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus.

“I‘ve tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild and I’m working from home & self-isolating.

“Vital we follow the advice to protect our NHS & save lives. #StayHomeSaveLives.”
