Tinubu Meets Ibori, Wike, Makinde in State Hous

President Bola Tinubu on Friday hosted former governors of Delta and Rivers States, James Ibori and Nyesom Wike respectively, at the State House, Abuja.

The two former governors were in the company of incumbent governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde.

Ibori, who governed Delta between 1999 and 2007 when Tinubu was governor of Lagos state, arrived at the Presidential Villa, around 4:30pm.

The three men walked into the President’s office when the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holding Plc, Mr Herbert Wigwe, was on his way out.

The reason for their visit could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Wike and Makinde had secretly supported the aspiration of the President during the February 25 elections even though they are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The duo were one of the G5 governors who openly disagreed with the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and vowed not to support him.
