SARS Dissolution, Victory For Those Who Stood In Defence Of Freedom For All Nigerians – Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Central senate representative, has reacted to recent dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) by Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

Reacting in his official Twitter handle on Sunday, Sani described the Disbandment of the squad as a victory for those who spoke and stood in defence of the freedom, rights and justice of all Nigerians.

“Dissolution of SARS;A victory for all the voices of courage who spoke & stood in the defense of the freedom,rights & Justice for all Nigerians,” he wrote.

“A genuine democracy must always balance its security exigencies with its obligations to respect the constitutional rights of its people.”
