President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a solidarity message to UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson following news of the PM’s admission into intensive care in a London hospital as he battles to recover from the deadly coronavirus disease.

In a press release by the Presidency via its verified twitter handle on Tuesday, the president prays for the UK Prime Minister’s quick recovery and restoration to full health.

The statement reads: “On behalf of the government and people of Nigeria, President @MBuhari wishes Prime Minister @BorisJohnson a quick recovery and restoration to full health.

“President Buhari’s sympathy and solidarity are with the British leader as he battles #COVID19 personally, and with the British people as their country battles the devastating effects of the pandemic.

“President Buhari prays that Prime Minister Johnson will soon be well enough to resume his great leadership of his country at this most trying time in global history.”

Meridian Spy reported yesterday Monday UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson was moved to intensive care at St Thomas Hospital in London after his condition got worse. He was conscious and asked Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab to act in his stead.
