President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State on the occasion of the wedding fatiha of Najib Aminu Waziri, his son and Amina Umar Tafida, the daughter of Senator Umar Tafida, Tafidan Argungu.
The wedding ceremony was held on Saturday at Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State and had in attendance many eminent Nigerians who graced the occasion.
President Buhari who was represented by the Ministers of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN; the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu; and Musa Haro, a Special Assistant in the Presidency, advised “the new couple to commit their relationship to God and treat each other with respect”.
“I urge you to be loyal and committed, never to give up on one another,” Shehu quoted the President to have said.
The President also congratulated the Governor of Sokoto State on the occasion and wished him a happy and successful event.
Others at the ceremony National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and other PDP governors and party leaders.
