Top Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson commented on the poor leadership plaguing the continent of Africa.

In a tweet on Saturday, the actress accused African politicians of killing its citizens by causing hunger, through lack of basic social amenities.

She noted that the politicians do not have to kill directly with their guns but through their policies and greed.

“……..well In africa, its our politicians who do the killing… with Hunger , poor health systems, lack of potable water, poor road networks, etc. they dont even have to touch you….their policies and greed will. They dont kill with guns!” said the actress.

According to The Cable, the gifted actress has been critical of governance and socio-economic issues in Africa.

In December last year, she had taken a swipe at her country’s leadership, wondering why Ghana still remains “colonised” despite attaining independence several years ago.

“Charley, I wake up every morning wondering why we are where we are! With all our resources! We are still being colonised,” whe had written.

Last year, the Ghanaian actress also confirmed her breakup with Jamie Roberts, her rugby player baby daddy, with whom she has a child.
