The Igbo community in the United States of America was in uproar after their cultural festival was unexpectedly cancelled.

In a video seen by Meridian Spy obtained by LIB, one of the attendees claimed the organizers of the event being held by the Mbaise community paid a huge sum of over $92,000 for the hall.

However, the Texas hotel management invited the police after the event started at Westin Hotel in Irvine, Texas, to shut them down.

The source who also spoke to LIB said, “This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad… let’s build our country… We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad”
