Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Ali Isa Pantami, has revealed that he hosted Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, at his residence during a late-night visit.

Pantami disclosed the meeting in a post on his official X handle, noting that Obi paid him a friendly visit on Sunday night.

According to him, their discussions covered a wide range of national and global issues, including agriculture, the economy, education, artificial intelligence, global statistics, and Nigeria’s unity in diversity.

“My family and I are most appreciative of the visit,” Pantami added, while sharing photos from the meeting.

The night meeting between the former Anambra governor and the former minister comes amid ongoing conversations about Nigeria’s economic future and the role of technology in driving development.
