Soccernet.ng has compiled a list of impressive performances from Nigerian players in various leagues across Europe on Friday, 10th March 2023.

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen received an early weekend gift as second-placed Inter Milan stumbled to a surprise 2-1 defeat against Spezia, thereby boosting Napoli’s hopes of clinching the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years.

Osimhen will look to add to his 19 league goals and help Napoli extend their lead atop the league table when they host Atalanta at the Diego Maradona Stadium on Saturday.

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, put up a near-perfect display to help Paris FC secure a 2-0 win over Montpellier in the French Feminine Division 1.

Super Eagles full-back Zaidu Sanusi played well in Porto’s thrilling 3-2 win over Estoril in Portugal.

Maryann Ezenagu made an impressive substitute appearance for Zenit in the Russian Superliga Women, as the team trounced Krylya Sovetov 5-0.

In Scotland, Stephen Eze’s solid defensive performance helped Queens Park secure a narrow 1-0 win over Cove Rangers.

Youngster Lawrence Nicholas was a stoppage-time substitute for Fatih Karagumruk in Turkey, where the team battled from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Giresunspor.

Meanwhile, Odion Ighalo was the standout performer in Saudi Arabia’s Premier League, scoring two goals for Al Hilal in their 4-0 win against Al Taawon.
