Nigeria Records 265 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 7,526

265 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, taking the total to 7,526 in the country.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC made the disclosure on Saturday night via its verified Twitter handle.

Of the 265 new cases, 133 were confirmed in Lagos, 34 in Oyo, 28 in Edo, 23 in Ogun, 22 in FCT, six in Plateau, five in Kaduna, three in Borno and Niger and two in Kwara, Bauchi, Anambra and Enugu.

Total fatalities remained at 221 while recoveries rose to 2,174 in the country.

NCDC tweeted: “265 new cases of #COVID19;
