NAF: Premier Female Flying Officer, Arotile To Be Buried Thursday July 23 In Full Military Honour

Premier female flying officer, Tolulope Arotile who died in a road accident will be buried on Thursday, July 23 in full military honour.

This was confirmed in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore, Ibikunle Daramola, on Friday.

Daramola disclosed that Arotile will be laid to rest with full military honours at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.

MERIDIAN SPY reported Thursday the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) revealed more details on the demise of the 24-year-old after disclosing that she died from head injuries after a road traffic accident at NAF Base, Kaduna.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information stated Wednesday the deceased was said to have been hit by a reversing car driven by one of her secondary school classmates who wanted to greet her.

“Flying Officer Arotile died on July 14, 2020 at the age of 24, when she was inadvertently hit by the reversing vehicle of an excited former classmate at the Air Force Secondary School while trying to greet her,” h said in the statement.
