Nigerian music video director, Clarence Peters and his production crew members have been released by the Lagos State Police Command, Vanguard confirms.

Peters was reportedly arrested and questioned by the Lagos State Police Command over the death of video vixen, Love Divine, popularly known as Kodak, who died at his studio in Omole, Lagos. She was said to have been electrocuted at Peters’ house on Wednesday, April 29 while charging her iPhone.

Although the music video director had clarified, via his Instagram handle, that no one had been charged or arrested, by the Police. “The witnesses and I willingly made ourselves available to the Police and we have all pledged our full co-operation, through every part of this process. I will be helping out in every possible capacity”, he said.

But reports say Peters, together with his crew, were released after medical reports showed that the late video vixen, Kodak died as a result of electric shock while charging her phone.

According to Vanguard, since his arrest, his father, the Afro juju icon, Sir Shina Peters was a regular face at the Panti Police station. With his intervention and that of well-meaning Nigerians, the music video producer and his crew were released.
