Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has launched a major recruitment drive for 6,580 teachers and other education personnel to support the state’s Smart Schools initiative.
The recruitment is aimed at providing qualified educators and support staff for the technology-driven schools, which are designed to improve the quality of education through digital learning, innovation and modern teaching methods.
According to the state government, the initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the education sector, expand access to quality learning and equip students with skills needed for a technology-driven future.
Interested applicants are expected to participate in a transparent recruitment process as the government works to ensure the Smart Schools are adequately staffed ahead of full operations.
