Aminu Ado Bayero has been appointed as the new Emir of Kano.
The new emir was the former Emir of Bichi of the four emirates created by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Emir Bayero is to replace the dethroned Emir Sanusi Lamido according to the Secretary to the State Government.
