The Abia State governorship election petitions tribunal sitting in Umuahia, Abai State, has upheld the victory of the State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.

In a judgement on Friday, the tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2019 governorship election, Mr. Alex Otti against Mr. Ikpeazu who was declared as the winner of the election by INEC.
