JUST IN: Delta Governor, Okowa, Wife Test Positive For COVID-19

Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and wife, Edith have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus pandemic.

This is coming days after his daughter tested positive for the virus disease.

Governor Okowa who made the disclosure on Wednesday via his official Twitter handle, said he and his wife are well and in isolation.

“My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19,” the governor wrote.

“We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication.

“We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.”

A total of 965 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Delta. The state has the seventh highest number of cases in the country.
