JUST IN: 10 New Cases Of Coronavirus Recorded In Nigeria, Total Now 224

Nigeria has recorded 10 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number to 224.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made the disclosure on Sunday via its verified twitter handle.

Six of the new cases were reported in Lagos, two in Abuja and two in Edo state.

One new death was also recorded, bringing the death toll to five.

NCDC tweeted: “Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.

“As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.”
