APC candidate for Oredo Federal Constituency, Dr Paddy Iyamu, has denounced the vandalism of the campaign office of his NDC counterpart, Hon Uyi Omosigho, urging his supporters and other political actors to embrace peace ahead of the election.
Iyamu said the incident was carried out without his knowledge or authorisation, stressing that such actions do not represent his values or approach to politics.
He described Omosigho as his brother and fellow son of Oredo, and called on his supporters to remain calm, law-abiding and respectful of other candidates and their supporters.
He also urged political actors to focus on issues, ideas and the interests of the people rather than acts capable of heightening tension in the constituency.
