How we beat Chelsea 2-1 – Man Utd coach Amorim

Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim, has explained why his team defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.

Amorim watched as goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro gave the Red Devils the victory over the Blues.

Trevoh Chalobah scored a late consolation goal for Enzo Maresca’s side at Old Trafford.

Speaking after the game, Amorim said Man United started the game well against Chelsea as his players were really aggressive against the visitors.

According to the Portuguese, the red card Chelsea got via goalkeeper Robert Sanchez also helped his team.

“Every win, especially in this moment, is important, against a great opponent,” Amorim told BBC Sport.

“We started the game in the right way. Really aggressive. The red card helped us dominate the game, but we were already there.”

Man United are now in the 10th position on the Premier League table after beating Chelsea.
