Hilda Effiong Bassey, often known as Hilda Baci, the Guinness World Record for the longest single cooking marathon. Hilda has shared some of the steps she took to establish her reputation.

The well-known culinary expert disclosed that she tried out for Big Brother Naija five times but was turned down each time.

She revealed this in an interview for the Cool FM programme “The Big Friday Show,” which was presented by Natacha Akide, commonly known as Tacha, a reality television personality.

According to Hilda Baci, the purpose of putting in for the reality show was to become famous.

She added that she had the cook-a-thon in mind but she wanted to try the reality show out first.

“I actually tried to get on Big Brother Naija for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.

“The plan for the cook-a-thorn was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thorn,” she stated.
