Famous Hausa musician, Hassan Wayam, is dead, Sahara Reporters reports.

He died after a long illness in Zaria, Kaduna State.

According to family members, he will be buried on Saturday (today) in line with Islamic rites.

The late musician is originally from Maradun in Zamfara State.
