Armed men have killed one person and abducted two women during an attack on Kwanar Dangora community in Kiru Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Friday when the assailants, said to be in large numbers and armed with dangerous weapons, stormed the residence of one Alhaji Ibrahim.

Sources confirmed that the attackers abducted the two wives of the victim, identified as Safara’u Ibrahim and Attine Ibrahim.
In the course of the invasion, a 27-year-old man, Abdul Usman, who resided at the same address, was shot dead. His body was later released to his relatives for burial.
Security operatives visited the scene shortly after the incident. According to the sources, investigation is already underway, with efforts ongoing to rescue the abducted women unharmed and bring the perpetrators to justice.
