FULL LIST: Burna Boy named BET’s Best International Act for Fourth Tim

Burn Boy, the Afrofusion star, is BET’s Best International Act for the 2023 award season.

The 2023 award show of Black Entertainment Television aired on June 25 from the Microsoft Theater in LA.

Burna Boy beat the likes of Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy to win the ‘Best International Act’ category.

This extends Burna Boy’s record in winning BET’s “Best International Act” category to four.

The Grammy-winning music star clinched the award for three consecutive years, in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Among the top winners at the 2023 BET Awards are the female singers Beyonce and SZA.

SZA clinched the ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Best Female R&B/Pop Artist’, and ‘Video of the Year’ categories.

Beyonce’s song ‘Break My Soul’ won both the ‘Viewers Choice Award’ and the ‘BET Her Award’.

Other winners at the 2023 award are Chris Brown, Usher, Drake, and the film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

This year’s event celebrated 50 years of Hip Hop, with Busta Rhymes receiving the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.

The BET Award show recognises any year’s best music, TV, film, and sports performances.
