Five Die Of COVID-19 Complications, Three Persons Discharged In Kano

Five persons have died of coronavirus complications in Kano state.

The state’s Ministry of Health made the disclosure late night Friday via its verified Twitter handle.

A total of 18 persons have so far been confirmed to have died of the disease in Kano.

The health ministry tweeted: “#COVID19KN Update as at 11:35pm 8th May 2020. 65 new cases of #COVID19Kano cases confirmed. Total confirmed cases in @KanostateNg are now 547.

“1 additional #COVID19Kano patient discharged.

“5 #COVID19Kano deaths were recorded.”

Hours later, the Kano State Health Ministry confirmed the discharge of two more COVID-19 patients, taking the total to 22 in the state.

“#COVID19Kano Update: 1:15am 9th May 2020 . 2 more #COVID19Kano patients were discharged from our Isolation Facility to reunite with their family and society. Total discharged now 22,” it tweeted.
