Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former minister of finance, has hailed Nigerian youths for their display of relentless courage in the ongoing protest against police brutality in the country.

Okonjo-Iweala who recently made it to the top two finalists in the race for Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), noted, in a Twitter post, it was powerful the ENDSARS protesters conducted themselves peacefully during their demonstrations across the country.

She, however, hoped for a positive outcome as the protesters continue to march against police brutality and other forms of maladministration in the country.

“I applaud the resourcefulness and courage of Nigerian youth in the #EndSARS. Powerful to let your voices be heard peacefully,” the former finance minister wrote on Sunday.

“Let’s join hands for a positive outcome through a One Nigeria approach.”
