Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, together with other law enforcement agencies have supervised the distribution of assorted grains donated by the federal government to Edo State.

PRNigeria gathered that the involvement of anti-graft operatives is to guard against diversion and other corrupt practices during the disbursement process.

It was also learnt that the grains were distributed to 18 local government areas, in the presence of the officials of SEMA, ICPC and DSS.

Among the beneficiaries of the food palliative are prison inmates, CAN, faith-based organizations, together with rainstorm and flood victims
