BREAKING: Prof Ibrahim Gambari Officially Unveiled As New Chief Of Staff

President Muhammadu Buhari has officially presented Prof. Ibrahim Gambari as his new Chief of Staff, nearly a month after the death of the predecessor, Abba Kyari who died of corovirus complications on April 17.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha at the resumption of the Federal Executive Council meeting.

Gambari, who is from Ilorin, Kwara State, was Minister of External Affairs during the President’s reign as military head of state in 1983-85.

He also served as the under secretary-general of the UN and special adviser to the secretary-general on Africa between 1999 and 2005.
