The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has presented certificate to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina announced this on his Twitter handle @FemiAdesina on Friday afternoon.

The tweet reads: ” WAEC presents attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to President Buhari. What will the naysayers say next?”

The certificate from the apex West African examination body was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa by the its registrar, Dr Iyi Uwadiae alongside other top officials from the body.

Recall, President Buhari had been tongue-lashed by Nigerians for not including his WAEC certificate in the myriad of documents he submitted to INEC last week.

Patently, this may bring the issue of the president’s certificate to rest as other aspects of the president’s credibility may faced by his critics and Nigerians at large.
