BREAKING: Nigeria Records 409 New COVID-19 Cases, 17 Deaths

Nigeria has recorded 409 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 13,873 in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) broke the news on Wednesday, via its verified Twitter handle.

The 409 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed from 16 states, with Lagos recording 201; the highest daily infections, followed by FCT with 85 and Delta 22.

Others are Edo- 16, Nasarawa- 14, Borno- 14, Kaduna- 14, Bauchi-10, Rivers-9, Enugu- 5, Kano- 5, Ogun- 4, Ondo- 4, Bayelsa- 2, Kebbi- 2 and Plateau- 2.

17 new fatalities were also recorded, taking the total to 382, while total discharged cases rose to 4,351 in the country.
