Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election in Edo State was defeated in his local government area by his main opponent, Godwin Obaseki, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In Orhionmwon LGA where the APC candidate is from, Obaseki scored 13,445 votes to defeat Ize-Iyamu who polled 10,458 votes.
